| In 2007, I started a blog called macabresque to talk about cult, underground, horror, sci fi, exploitation films etc. I've been thinking about making a comic book component to it for a while. Something that would be loosely based on my life as a PhD student, but will also have cool stuff like zombies and cyborgs in it. I can't call myself a comic artist. My drawing credits include a one-off 7 page comic story for an English term paper that we did with my classmates when I was in high school. So don't keep your expectations high. Much of the artwork you'll see here will be crappy. And I'm not sure about how the content will end up developing, either. Basically, macabresque comix is me finding yet another way to procrastinate.
